Foundation
Here's a shot from the hip, I think as a foundation for the business we should focus on employee management. Building upon what Jeremy said, tracking time and conveying schedules would be a couple issues employers always struggle with. I think we should focus around that. (That's just my opinion). Consulting and overall business analysis are great ideas, and we need to use a little bit of that to get customers. But what is going to be our revenue driver? Once we get good at that, let's add on as fast as possible.

I agree with you Brennen that we need to have a main focus and then build off of that. Who knows, once we actually get into it we might actually take off in a different direction. We'll only know once we get some customers on board though. Out of curiosity, what kinds of businesses do you have in mind that would benefit from an employee management tool?
ReplyDeletei have talked to a few people who have suggested that i come visit the place where they work because they dont have any system to track their hours besides writing it down on a piece of paper. so i think lots of small businesses here in the valley that would be interested. from small mom and pop restaurants to bakeries or landscaping, they all need employee management solutions.
ReplyDeleteand most of these small businesses just feel that it is just too expensive to have something like this implemented at their business. if we can provide this service to them at a cost they can afford and it will make their lives easier i think we could get a lot of happy customers
