Toughts
From seeing what "mad skillz" everybody has, the recurring theme is some type of management experience. We had an idea that would make this company a consulting group and that's where I think it should go. There is such a plethora of things we can do, but we won't know a focus until we actually get in to some businesses to see what their needs are. I have a feeling that we are going to have to customize everything we do to each business. We need to find out if there is a true need for custom programs. Give our programmer(s) a heads up on where we want to go. Come ready on Wednesday with your version of where we need to go from here. We need to do some physical market research. Go out and visit potential clients. Bring your rolodex.

I think it wouldn't be a bad idea, I guess depending on what we do in class, to get all of us together in a room at the library or somewhere and put everything down that we're thinking and really refine what we want to do. I think we've done a good job with that here, but we need to start visiting businesses and giving out assignments, etc. I think we might have another lecture on Wednesday so maybe we could meet in the library that evening. What's everybody's schedule like? When would be the best time to meet outside of class?
ReplyDeleteI am available everyday Monday and Wednesday after class. Most evenings work for me, it just depends on the week.
